BOOKS AND DOCUMENTS

Books and documents are very important sources of history. A source is something that gives us information. Historians read a lots of written sources before they write about a period of history.

SPANISH: Los libros y los documentos son fuentes históricas muy importantes. Una fuente es algo que nos da información. Los historiadores leen gran cantidad de fuentes escritas antes de escribir sobre una época histórica.

There have been many alphabets in history. Most come from Ancient History. Egyptians, Greeks and Romans.

SPANISH: Han habido muchos alfabetos en la historia. La mayoría proceden de la Edad Antigua. Egipcios, Griegos y Romanos.

We can find out about important events and people from books, letters and other written documents. We can also find out how people lived.

SPANISH: Podemos encontrar acontecimientos y personas importantes a partir de libros, cartas y otros documentos escritos. Ademas podemos averiguar cómo vivía la gente.
